SYNCROFLEX HA

SYNCROFLEX HA is a liquid solution of Hyaluronic acid. Regular administration of this supplement aids in the support of healthy joints, ligaments and tendons to improve overall performance.

Directions of Use
Equine: Maintenance:
10ml-20ml ( 100 -200 mg Hyaluronic Acid) per 500kg. once daily. Quantity can be doubled for initial 7 days or prior to competition.
30ml for large full size Warmblood type ( 700kg )
Canine: Maintenance:
4ml-6ml ( 40mg Hyaluronic Acid )once daily; double the dose for initial 5 days or prior to race.

Hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate, hyaluronan, HA) is a special mucopolysacharide that exists naturally in all living organisms. In the mammals body, it is found in greatest concentrations in the synovial fluid of articular joints for lubrication, the vitreous humor (fluid) of the eye, and most abundantly in the skin. As the animal ages, the body produces lesser and lesser Hyaluronic Acid. The joints become stiff, the movement painful.
Hyaluronic Acid is a double molecule of glucosamine combined with glucuronic acid. Glucosamine is only one-half of the HA molecule, which is why the isolated use of glucosamine yields results much slower and much less dramatic than HA.
Chondroitin only raises the production of HA in the body, and thus for those on very large doses, there may be some of the same long term benefits.

The effectiveness of SYNCROFLEX HA as a joint supplement is owed to its specific high molecular weight HA of 2,400 000 Daltons which leads to a rapid absorption by the body.

Hyaluronic Acid varies in its molecular weight and this is clinically significant with studies showing more benefit from higher molecular weight hyaluronic acid.
Oral solutions by nature are absorbed by the body easier and quicker than powders and tablets.
The Hyaluronic Acid in SYNCROFLEX HAis actually already absorbed by the mucosal membranes of the mouth and throat, well before reaching the stomach and the digestive tract.
At one time it was thought that stomach acid destroyed the HA molecule. More recent research has shown that a large portion of the molecule goes undisturbed by the acid and goes on to be absorbed in the small intestine.
The daily use of SYNCROFLEX HAavoids the fluctuations associated with injectable products by maintaining a daily, bio-available serum level. The synovial fluid maintains a more healthy condition under both exercise and normal wear and tear.
Furthermore SYNCROFLEX HAis a less invasive and less expensive alternative to injections.
SYNCROFLEX HAcontains a liquid, high-molecular weight HA, only derived from microbial fermentation, rather than from protein sources, such as rooster combs or chicken cartilage. Protein-based HA breaks down far more readily and is subject to contamination.
